LEAD User Experience (UX) Designer

Mono Solutions is looking for a talented and passionate Lead User Experience (UX) Designer.


You will join our dynamic and rapidly growing Software Company serving thousands of small and medium sized businesses (SMBs) with our world-leading online presence platform (30+ markets – mainly Europe and North America).


As a Senior Lead Experience Designer you will play a key role in our product development process, creating, improving and developing the user experience for all users of the Mono Online Presence Platform (V5).


You will be the constant advocate for placing the user experience at the center of our interface design. Through your deep understanding of all the elements of User Experience Design, you will help to make a complex software interface simple, superior and intuitive to work with.



MORE ABOUT THE ROLE


When you step into the role as a Lead User Experience Designer, you will become an integrated part of a dedicated product and design team. You will be the key-person bridging design and development. And you will be the one who leads the product interface sessions, catching up the decisions and redefine the proposals. You will be working out of our main office in Copenhagen.


In your daily work you will create convincing sketches and detailed prototypes for new interfaces and features on the platform. You will oversee everything from intricate interaction design to the overall information architecture and participate in all stages of the product development process – from concept to launch and beyond.


This is a senior position. Minimum 5 years of working experience within User Experience Design is required.



WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU


  • Capable of keeping a detailed overview of a range of complex produduct interfaces (the mono product range contains sitebuilder, e-commerce, Booking, CRM, blog etc).
  • Strong conceptual skills. Both for understanding existing concepts and for creating new.
  • Expert in User-Centered Design methods and best-practices for desktop and mobile interfaces.
  • A master of creating wireframes and interactive prototypes.
  • Confident in quickly sketching up ideas and thoughts on paper, in presentations and prototyping software.
  • Proficient in User Research with experience in planning and executing surveys and user tests.
  • Experience interacting with users, understanding their needs and translating into product designs.
  • Capable of documenting designs efficiently for implementation by developers in remote locations.
  • You have a “go-do” approach
  • You are a team player
  • You can lead UX/UI processes.
  • Speaks and write english.



KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Create excellent and desirable user experiences.
  • Work with Product Management, Development and end-users to gather requirements and translate them into product designs.
  • Develop customer journey maps, wireframes, sketches and prototypes to conceptualize and communicate high-level design strategies and detailed interaction design.
  • Ensure that the full service design is attended to during product design.
  • Ensure a tight user focus throughout the product design process.
  • Plan, Conduct and analyze results from user tests of the platform interface design.
  • Ensure a red line in all our products.
  • Leading UX/UI sessions 



IT WOULD BE AWESOME IF...


  • You have previous and proven experience working with advanced interface design
  • You have former experience with web-site builders or the like (Sitebuilders or Content Management Systems - e-commerce or booking software).
  • You understand the needs of the SMB segment (Small and Medium Businesses).
